香港科技大学(广州)红鸟硕士项目为实现“复合型创新创业领军人才”培养目标而设计的学术型硕士培养项目。项目探索“以学生为中心”的融合学科育人范式,通过项目引导式教学,为未来的战略工程师和战略科学家发现自我、挖掘潜力并不断提升能力创造优渥的成长环境。香港科技大学(广州)红鸟硕士项目的培养特色是:践行学科融合“枢纽理念”;不设置学科和专业分界线;学生与教师双向选择;以项目为引导的小组式教学。


香港科技大学(广州)红鸟硕士项目将重点围绕医疗健康、可持续生活、智能工业化三个未来人类可能遇到重大挑战的领域,通过项目引导式的创新教学方法,探索“以学生为中心”的跨学科人才培养新模式,持续为社会培养和输送复合型创新型人才。培养模式是践行学科融合的关键机制,学校突破了硕士招生院系划分的传统模式,首设四大枢纽和多个学域学术架构,学生可以根据自身兴趣、教育背景和未来职业规划选择培养方向。学生在进行6个月的自主学术探索后,通过与老师的双向选择,确定学术导师,并确认最终枢纽及学域。第6-24个月学生与各枢纽及学域学术导师、业界导师和项目导师共同完成团队项目和教学任务,共同探索、开拓,并推进相关研究。
